Most backup applications offer backup schedules defined by grouping of client desktops/laptops. It is a painful task for an administrator to define schedules for backups especially if there are 200+ desktops/laptops.

Connected Data Protector takes care of the scheduling tasks. All backups are run by an automatic backup schedule defined by the software. All you need to do is to define the time period and the week days during which you want a desktop to backup. Based on the network availability and delta changes on a desktop, the Data Center software automatically decides when the next backup has to happen.

The mobile users can automatically get there desktops backed up when they return back after days of traveling. You can set your laptops to force a backup if connected on the network after a pre-defined no. of days.

If any other application is scheduled on the desktop, a blackout time option ensures no backups get scheduled during that period.

The agent is available as a taskbar icon. The user can also force a backup any time.
