Backup data is converted into the NDMP format and written to the tapes as biggest advantage is fast snapshot based backups from the NAS appliance. Even large databases hosted on the NAS appliance get quickly backed up on the media.

Similarly, the restores are equally fast. We offer solutions for fast file-level and directory-level restore of the data. For a small restore, the user can easily select the required files and restore them fast. Even for a huge data restore involving millions of files, directory-level recovery acts as fast recovery method without the need for restoring the entire volumes.

The solutions we offer integrate both the above recovery scenarios to help user to perform quick recovery based on his requirement.

Quick downloading of the data from the backup sets on the media directly attached to the NAS appliance. Since, there is no movement of data across the network during a backup and a restore, the network bandwidth is also not used for these activities.
