A dedicated VergeOS system maintains an additional protected copy of data and can supply missing data segments when multiple drives or servers fail, allowing workloads to continue accessing the data they require while the infrastructure is repaired.

VergeOS snapshots are read-only by default, while selected recovery points can be made immutable for a defined retention period. Combined with frequent ioClone recovery points, this helps preserve known points in time that cannot simply be altered or deleted during an attack.

Replicate Complete Virtual Data Centers
Virtual Data Centers can be replicated as complete environments, including their virtual machines, networking and associated configuration. This provides a path to recovering an application environment rather than recreating each infrastructure component individually.
